B737-800 Flight Simulator

Went to the Singapore Flyer 2 weeks ago, not to take the Flyer, but to experience what it is like to fly a Boeing 737-800 virtually, yes..virtually.

Went to Flight Experience to fly the simulator using a voucher which my gf got for me for my birthday last year. First time I actually 'fly' the plane when I've actually been into cockpits of Boeing 757-200 and the MD-11 but not flying...

Well, I flew the Singapore-Kuala Lumpur route which lasted 45mins or so, which is from Changi Airport (WSSS) to Kuala Lumpur International Airport (WMKK).

Introducing the B737-800 cockpit

ya..i'm back!!!

A super long time ever since my last blog entry..haha..too tired to blog after work when i get home.

Some updates on my life...I'm still in ST Aerospace industry and still loving every part of the job especially my colleagues. Somehow my electrical team does not have too much of office politics whereas some other groups have bad stories..be glad to be in a nice team.

Went for 周华健's concert at Singapore Indoor Stadium on 7th Feb 2009. His concert was super long as usual...it lasted for 4 hours including encore. His concert is forever worth the money. I did not bring any cameras in this time round cos I just want to enjoy his songs and not busy myself with finding the right angle and time and zoom to take a pic or record a video. I rather stare at the stage than the small screen of my cameras..so ya..no pics except a wall of text..haha..

Just met up with my Swiss NPCC friends...though not many..only 6 of us including me. The rest are busy with work or with reservist...haha..all of us still have that character in us that never change ever since secondary school. Great to see them all doing well in life but with complains from work...who doesn't right?

haha..for me..it's time to move on to a new phase of life..a bit apprehensive though but sure will pull thru it with my other half...yeah!!

today...had a last minute 冲动 go down to IMM to attend 周華健's autograph signing session..

didn't want to go down at first cause i have to go my grandma's place for dinner and scared I may be late...but today...suddenly just had the urge to go...lol..

u see..i bought the tickets yesterday...2 tickets..1 for me and the other for my gf...then with tickets in hand...if I don't go for the autograph session..it'll be wasted...

(for friends who don't know me well enough...keke...i'm a number one fan of 周華健...since quite young...lol...that's why I picked up guitar..but I not as pro as him lah..)

seems like i never fail to attend his autograph sessions one...coz is like a mini-concert liao...he'll pick up his trademark guitar and play songs that we wanna listen...today is no exception...played those familar songs that majority heard before...like 朋友，爱相随，花心，有没有一首歌会让你想起我，etc..shiok!!

after singing...came the autograph session...i personally like his autograph session comparing to my other idols' (S.H.E and 梁静茹)...coz his fans usually from all walks of life...plus...i think most are old people...so seldom will attend this kind of things...haha..

this means got more time on stage to chat with him..rather than sign and go..he said i looked like a rich kid....@@

wooo...i'm back to brog....fk complaining that her friends never update their blogs one..hopefully she also meant mine too...haha..

anyway..burnt a huge hole in my pocket recently...i managed to get a descent desktop for below 1k...though the specs aren't really fabulous for that pricing...but my computer guru friends, aka sicong and jiehe and daji to some extend...(that daji fag not much of help..haha!!) told me the price i got it for is still reasonable...never tio chopped jialat jialat..

though is not a DIY desktop...but still ok lah...got a CPU from Lenovo for $899.. the specs weren't great at first...with only 1 GB ram and integrated graphics plus most importantly...no monitor...i was turned off...but then...the salesman attending to me...was the manager...so he gave me a deal...free upgrade to 3GB ram and a GeForce graphics card..(though was a low end as i found out from jiehe later..but still at least wasn't integrated) and also an 19" samsung monitor..

sounds good to me.....as i'm not that pro with comps...so after some thought..i bought it..

must be recession.. coz the manager told me i gave them the first sales of the day...n it was 7+pm liaoz...that's y he desperate gave me all the free things...then i topped up another 80 bucks for a 22" samsung monitor..quite stylo which my company is using...the monitor itself costs 300 bucks..so the CPU actually costs about 600 odd...

ok lah...quite happy with my purchase and i can play my flight sim which sux on my laptop...haha!!! yeah..

size of hole burnt in my pocket...SGD979...

next few months must eat grass le...haha!! will post some pics of my comp when i not as lazy as now..haha!!

Singapore Flyer...Singapore's version of London's Eye...anyway...went up the Singapore Flyer sometime in September...when my gf had discount for going up the Singapore Flyer...

So since it's discounted price...why not go try it? Asked 3 of our friends to join us too...at a discounted price also...and I can tell you...it's a once in a lifetime thing...

wah...super long time never update liao...

I'm already in STA for more than 2 months already...been doing designs for modifications for commercial airplanes...basically, I'm doing the re-wiring of the commercial planes..i'm doing the design part and the technicians at the hangar will do the hard-wiring based on my drawings...

sounds easy right? but no...after batches of aircrafts...there is always something different about the current batch than the previous ones....sometimes appear something extra in the drawings that needs to be rectified...

the drawing part is easier to do than the documentation...been doing documentations this whole week...parts list to be exact..this cannot go wrong...once submitted...that's it...so have to check and recheck...making sure what i'm submitting is correct...kaoz...eyes tired lor....

overall..still like my job...but the only thing i'm unhappy with is the waking hour......0545hrs...wake up...just to reach office at 0730hrs for breakfast...(on my own accord lah..) and after breakfast..slack here n there...then start work at 0800hrs...

woohoo!!! should be sleeping liao...time to sleeeeep.....7hrs of sleep is needed...hhahaha...

ST Aerospace - Aircraft Engineering Department 1 - Electrical Team

Started work at ST Aerospace for 3 weeks liao...in the Aircraft Engineering Department...Electrical Team..

I'm one of the newbies there...but my seniors are really helpful. Ask anyone for help, they won't say no..the thing about this Electrical team is that we are small and is a fully team work...unlike my colleague who is in the Mechanical side, where she said that mostly they do their own stuff and is more or less individual work...although they are a 'team'.

The Electrical team has really dedicated engineers..with a handful who have worked there for 10+ years and my mentor, whom I think is still in his 30s...has already 7 years experience...not really sure, but I heard from the rest of the colleagues one..he is pro at wiring diagrams and glad to have him as my mentor.

Think I'll love the job there though it'll be stressful and having a packed schedule for the planes to be completed on time. Hope to join the ranks of senior staff in ST Aerospace in future..haha!!

Graduated!!! At Long Last!!

That's the details for my Commencement (Graduation) Ceremony in NUS. After a long last, finally I've graduated with Bachelor of Engineering (Electrical) with Honours (2nd Lower). Looking at my transcript, those cross faculty modules are those that killed my grades, else I believe I could have gotten 2nd upper. Anyway, what's done cannot be undone, and I'm quite happy that I graduated from NUS in one piece..haha!!

At my gf's house now..she's not home...or rather..she's on her way home at this moment as I type..haha..came over to the house nearby the barber shop to have my hair cut...it's difficult to manage..

tomorrow is a long awaited day..my Graduation Day!!! my gf graduated 2 times (1 from NIE and 1 from NTU) and I've yet to graduate...now's my turn!!! yipee!!!

been looking for a job since my exams were over and happy to say that PSA and ST Aerospace offered me a job..at first..wanted to accept PSA as it's a global company but then.........

my dad's colleague worked in PSA before and it's the same job as what I applied and was accepted. Thus, he advised me going for that job as it has not much of prospects. After 1 hr of talking by my dad, he made me realize that deep within me, the passion for aerospace / aviation is there strongly and shouldn't just give up on the ST aerospace offer cos of working environment.

Like what my HR lecturer told me, "one may need to be in a not-my-wish kind of environment first in order to progress to a promising one", thus, I should go for my wish to be in the aviation industry..

will be signing the appointment letter this coming Wednesday and will start work the following Monday..don't really know what to expect just that happy that I can be near planes...haha!

All the best to me and my career in ST Aerospace!!

sehhh.....2 weeks high key ICT....but i slept most of the time..haha!!

i was just busy the day my battalion went outfield as i had to be there to supervise the issuing of arms by the armskotes as my vocation is weapon technician...meaning in charge of the weapons for the whole battalion...

the other time is when they return their arms and also the handing over the weapons back to the host unit...haha..

other than these...I got nothing better to do...haha!!

New Lego

Got a new set...from UK!! It's once again a 2nd hand set. It has some pieces..actually only 1 LEGO piece that is different in color from the actual set and also a missing minifig which is replaced by 2 minifigs (but not of the same type) and 2 other missing "lights" for the plane and shuttle which was replaced by my own spares. I'm not really complaining as there are a lot of free pieces which were extras to the set..meaning..I have more spares now and they are in good condition.

Yeah!!!! Completed my last exam in my life of being a student on Tuesday 6 May..very shiok!!!

Think the only thing i'll miss about my school life is having months of holidays...but the only thing to look forward to when i start working is the pay!! The stress wise...don't need to compare..cos who likes stress???

Anyway..an update on my life ever since Tuesday..or rather...the weekend before 6 May...

Saturday...met up with my Swiss group of friends...it was a celebration for FK's birthday..and boy was it an eventful night...it's tough to sleep when it is past my normal sleeping time...

Past few days after my last paper, I did a datasheet for my LEGO spare parts..which is necessary as I need to purchase parts for my LEGO town in future...other than that, play DOTA with junxiong, wenyao, sicong, daji, alex teh, zhenwei and gerry...all my gaming people...

today just came back from LAN...played battlefield whole day with clarence, terence, alex teh, sicong, daji and junxiong..enjoying sia...haha!!!

just wanna say...I got new LEGO!!! but old sets...2nd or 3rd or many hand wan...

the new ones a bit out of place...the size is different...(that's what most old LEGO collectors agree on)

so have to expand my town using the older sets...who wanna sell me their old LEGO sets???

Singapore Airshow 08

Woot!!! was at the Singapore Airshow on Saturday (23 Feb 08)...my favorite...

I think the organizers did not expect such a huge turn out....was alone today...as dear dear not very interested in planes, so don't want her to waste money just to accompany me there...then wy and zw not free plus sc also not interested...so ended up alone....which is not a bad idea...as I get to walk around OTOT....and take in the sights..(and the sun)

First...reached Pasir Ris MRT at 10.15am and started queueing up to take the FREE shuttle bus to Singapore Airshow....can't drive directly as need the car labels which is to be purchased using the family package of SGD100...

Was damn shocked at the snaking queue at Pasir Ris....it's very very meandering....

Talked to an Indian couple and a Chinese man in the queue....coz bored lah..then they started talking...so I joined them..haha...helped each other to prevent people from cutting queue and looked out for each other...making sure our wait in the queue was worth it..

oh ya..there was another 2 Indian guys behind me...quite nice...he saw that I was slightly out of the queue at one point so he so called ushered me to the front of him...so that my place won't be taken up...

After nearly 1 hour 45 mins wait, we got up the bus...lucky thing it's SMRT Bendy Buses...they were queueing up to pick passengers to the airshow....so it's not a bad thing...as the queue is moving constantly...

but still...we needed 1hr 45 mins to get up the bus....despite a moving queue...so you can imagine how long the wait was...

on our way to the airshow...met with another queue...this time was vehicles queueing...

nearer the venue......i was trapped in the bus when the aerial display started..and the taxi drivers all stopped to watch the show...(after dropping off passengers)

After a long journey...finally reached the airshow venue!!!

This was taken just outside the venue..the aerial display has started and everyone is crowding to watch the display before even entering the premises....cos everywhere long queue...look at the crowd at the far end of the picture watching the display from inside the premises..

I went in to watch...cos I want to catch the A380 flying display closer....haha...so missed some of the displays while inside a huge tent meant for security checks...

This is something that cannot be found on commercial airlines in operation. It's something that can only be found on this A380 that is flown in from France. It's used for testing of the tail section of the plane when the plane is pushed to its limits for flight testing on take off. This red portion will scrape along the runway when in the plane rotates to take off in the maximum angle allowed and measurements are taken from inside the plane by the engineers.

After the static display outside, I took a break and went into the Aircon-ed warehouse look a like exhibition area....inside were aviation companies displaying their stuff to attract potential customers during the trade show...now is an exhibition area for the public..

Yup...just back from Liang Jing Ru's Concert....

overall...quite satisfied with the concert...just that...don't know why this concert has a bad sound system...I don't quite like the sound system today...plus..the cheerleaders at the start of the concert...a bit extra leh...they don't look like dancing when they are supposed to...a bit out of the place...

second....I find the props a bit...erm...don't know how to describe..but I think a new stage crew is doing the controlling of the props...so it's not very smoothly done when transition from one prop to another..

however, her voice is getting better....and her singing 'live' skills are getting better too...her singing just covers the dissatisfaction from the above 2 factors...

great concert there 梁静茹!!

lastly...thanks darling for sponsoring the tickets as my birthday pressent!! hehe...Love u dear!

Yeah!!! an early birthday present for me...collector's item: LEGO 10182

my parents got it for me...hmm...buying LEGO as a present make me sound like a small boy right? But....in US and UK and Germany, etc...adults are collecting LEGO like what I do now...so cannot say that I'm a small kid...it's just my hobby...since childhood...an expensive hobby too..

anyway...this adds on to my growing town...the LEGO nowadays a bit out of place in my town...the vehicles are made slightly bigger...but then..i still managed to get a cement truck for my town..cos it looks nice...haha!!

Terminal 3 is opening soon!!!

Next year 9 Jan to be exact...now have open house...from Nov to Dec...who wanna go??? tour tour Terminal 3 before it opens for operations...haha...

got tour too leh..but must pay S$1 per person for a self-guided tour (to restricted areas) or S$3 per person for a guided tour (to restricted areas)...public areas are FREE!!

It will be SIA A380's home ground in the future...yippee!!!

Just back from Jorgina's housewarming...realli warm the house....hahah!!!

her house is really nice...think now the 'IN' thing for newly wed couples is to have a 'walk in' closet...her master bedroom's wall is connected to the adjacent room which is totally converted into a closet...the 'clothes department' is still quite empty at the moment...with most of jorgina's clothes still packed in her mum's home...hahaha!!

well....for them to do the interior designing themselves, i must say that it's really nice....the color of everything, from walls, to curtains and bedsheets...really nicely done...

we had a small gathering during the house warming...the people there were: me, jorgina, serene, wenyao, zeming, fong kiew, ying shan, jiajun, zhengyi, sihui, shawn, laiyi, yorklin and zhuling...hmmm...did i miss anyone out?? not sure...that's a lot of people...thinking back...we were young kids....in secondary school...when i was still a small kid..physically...now fatter liao...hahaha...

not only skinny....i was very short...like what sihui said...walking beside me was like a mother bringing her kid out...hahaha!!!

now i still shorter than sihui and jorgina.....but at least...i am taller than jiajun now when it was the other way round back in secondary school....

all the funny things that happened especially related to zeming..no no..i must say...that were all related to zeming...were said out around the dining table...really funny...

now...so many years have passed....11th year in running (all rounded up to 11th year, as most of us know each other from sec 1 or 2....) we are still in contact...and friendship is still there...all of us have grown up...talking about marriage, buying houses now.......

we have all grown up...and still reminiscing the days we had back in secondary school...where i can say that i had the best time of my life...

1) I'm going to watch David Copperfield's Singapore Tour!! the best part is....I'm not paying..hahaa!! my aunt sponsored me and dear to go...so good....i feel so paiseh....i just joked with her to ask her sponsor me...then she agreed..then i say joking only...she say serious.....next time then joke.....yeah!!!! the World of Magic....

2) A380 is here to stay!!!! the pretty plane touched down at Singapore Changi Airport this evening...wasted...didn't get to witness its entry to Singapore airspace...now it's parked at Terminal 3, as what my friend who's working in SIAEC said...yeah....I die die must take that plane once...no need that super first class with your own suite part....economy class good enough liaoz...hahaha..

Fierce end to my 1 week term break...hahaha!! Why fierce....cos we had an objective that night...No Seh No Go Home....hahaha!!

Shall tell the story proper...we were supposed to celebrate the September Babies' Birthday that night..but we couldn't...as most not free...only sicong and laiyi ok only...so in the end...celebrated laiyi's birthday instead...as it fell on that day...

the venue was at sicong's house....with sicong cooking his curry....and the very salty miso soup...the curry was good....with the don't know what noodles...(pics are below)...

after dinner...was birthday cake cutting and eating....as laiyi needed to go off to another birthday dinner....for him...best....busy birthday boy...

Relationship...be it parent-child, sibling-sibling, husband-wife, bf-gf, or even between friends..communication is the most important thing that keeps this relationship going...

i always keep this in my mind...as to me..all kinds of relationships that i have, is very important to me...i do not wish to drop any of the relationships because of miscommunication...

words are the sharpest and most deadly weapon..that can hurt...or even kill a relationship...so words have to be used wisely and carefully...

we may have blurted out words that are deadly...and may regret it later on...so the only antidote to this wound is an apology...but this antidote must b applied fast....else the relationship may be dead...

forgive and forget is also another way of keeping a relationship going.................nothing much to be said on this point....

well....a piece of advice for anyone reading my blog...

My Niece!! Lacus!!

here are the pics of my niece, Lacus...more than a month old..taken over the weekend at my grandma's place...she's so cute!!!!

I just have to mention that...she likes me i guess...hahaha!! she keeps looking at me....maybe cos i'm handsome?? hahahaha.....that's what my aunts say...cos even when my aunt forced Lacus to turn her head the other way (to the left)...she turned right back to me (which was her right) and looked at me...maybe it's my tongue...i was playing with my tongue...and she seems to try to imitate me...soooo cute!!!!!!!!

then when i walked out of the room...she turned her head to follow me until i was out of side...omg........cute gal!!!!!

had her bundled up in a big bathing towel...cos it was raining and the wind was strong...and she had to go home already...

so to prevent her from catching a cold..this is what my cousin (the mum of Lacus) did...

15th September was dear and I 6th year anniversary....but right...we didn't celebrating it that day....instead....we celebrated our friend's birthday...at....McDonald's......zzzzz....cos it was his wish to celebrate there for his birthday...

anyway...our anniversary was pre-celebrated on friday...where we had chilli crab, fried rice, bacon and cheese, and drunken live prawns!!!! super shiok!!!! i forgot what the place is called...but it's very ulu....inside the industrial estate at defu lane 10 but it's a restaurant...with nice deco....sorry...no pics though..but...NPGT (No Pic Got Talk)

tried out my new camera last week.....ya..i know it's 1 week late liao this post...hahaha!!

anyway...my camera (or rather..my dad bought it...but it's unofficially mine)...is good!!! didnt managed to really test the daylight capabilities...but had lots of night shots...which i sux.....cos need stable hands or tripod...

anyway..my entry is just to show the zooming capability of the camera...i took a pic using the max zoom (of the zoom lens)...take a look...haha...

Not bad ah...taken from vivocity the balcony area outside Planet Fitness..or was it Fitness First...some kind of fitness lah...hahaha...can see the sentosa word so big...shiok!!!

was playing dota...actually...cant even say play....cos.....just 5 mins into the game...i dc-ed....

what the heck!! happens to me at a high frequency recently...just don't know why...wireless sux when it comes to playing game...but what to do...my desktop is even worse with low specs....want to load also will take a longer time...argh!!!

anyway...another incident happened in sch today...was queuing up for my burger king in NUS...my queue was fast...so was near the counter...with one lady to go....when it's that lady's turn to buy her things....2 other gals happily appeared....from don't know where...and ask her if she bought their food too...anyway..they are friends lah...

i heard "no" from the lady...but the other 2...still..........stood there....and ordered my food separately from that lady....it was like my queue extra 2 people in front of me....i was wanting to tell them off...to go back and RE-QUEUE...but don't want to make a scene...

anyway...what made me more pissed off is that...these 2 ladies...ordered their meals ONE BY ONE....meaning...A order first...pay money...then B order...then B pay...not ONE shot...wah laoz....purposely wan is it....stupid lor....

then was telling these to my friends over lunch...then i said something about idiots (YES..IDIOTS) who do not know how to keep left on the escalator...especially at MRT stations...there are so many freaking signs paste not on the ceiling nor in the rubbish bin but at the handrails of the escalator...telling people to STAND ON THE LEFT SIDE AND WALK ON THE RIGHT SIDE OF THE ESCALATOR....

countries like Taiwan and HK can don't have these signs...but people stand on the right and leave the left side clear for people to pass (their cars is opposite drive wan..so escalators follow same)

wah laoz...these people are really IDIOTS...

Stupid Traffic Jam!!

wah kaoz...cannot tahan....today everywhere also traffic jam....wanted to go COMEX via ECP...thought is the best way le...but didnt know that the stupid triathlon is going on at the floating platform there....then traffic jam all the way to suntec....really pissed off...

half an hour liao...still stuck at NEAR the exit to suntec (rochor road)...i see the Singapore Flyer till xian lor...then nearly 40 mins...then start to inch into the exit ramp....then down the ramp...cannot turn into suntec via temasak boulevard...so LLST have to go to the main junction (that' what i thought)...

but who knows...at that fag junction...only one lane open....then TP there...don't allow us to turn left to suntec...really dulan-ed....then i go all the way to bugis...see the bugis junction parking not full...so turn in to park..then walk to suntec....kaoz....

oh ya...my motive for going COMEX is to accompany dear's sis buy MP3 player....so i was fetch both of them and cursing at the traffic all the way...zzzz....sorry dear have to c my pek chek attitude...

anyway...didn't expect COMEX to be so empty...there's not much of rubbing shoulders with anyone...weird..maybe cos i'm at the 4th level...all the mp3s are there.....so quite happy walking around without squeezing past people and seeing some fag parents pushing their prams in the crowd...(the latest IT fair in march got some fags push the pram in the already crowded aisles...how to walk like that?!??! no brain wan these people)

ya...after buying the mp3 player, we went to starbucks drink kopi....then went to dear's home sit a while before fetching them to their uncle's house for gathering...then went up sit sit a bit...before dear and i went to my cousin's place..for dinner and see my 1-month old niece...cute gal...her eyes big big...look at u very scary wan...haha...anyway...pics are in dear's camera...my dad didn't bring the pro camera go take pics...so have to wait for dear to be free to send me pics...hehe...

anyway...NUS sux lah....profs say we can use ANY labs for our FYP...as we are official undergrads of NUS...but when i emailed the lab staff, they said tat lab is reserved for year 2 only...ask me go find other labs..

kns...now i need to find a lab that has the equipment that i want...xianz...we pay so much money and only can use tat lab in year 2....wth is this...

Rainy Rainy Day

Wild Wild Wet....freaking rainy for nearly the whole day...morning was still ok...didn't get really wet when i went to sch...

but in the afternoon...12noon...sky getting to get darker n darker...n by the time i had my lunch...it was nearly 1.30pm...it started to rain cats n dogs, tigers n lions, sharks n whales...kaoz....n i had to go IMRE to meet my FYP prof....n the catch is...there is no shelter there....zzzz.....

carried my teeny weeny umbrella....walked from engin canteen to the busstop at central lib......it was of no use compared to the strong wind and rain....got drenched from waist down...my bag was totally wet...n i wore a jacket....zipped up...heng....like tat can prevent my shirt from getting wet....

alight at the busstop nearest to IMRE...behind biz...took out my umbrella again...n walked up the slope....saw water rushing out from drains...the water was so much n with such pressure that it pushed a drain cover open...n it's like a mini rapids...half drenched by the time i reached IMRE....met my prof n he was just as wet...

after my meeting...which lasted for an hr...the rain was getting smaller....and i went home...wanted to sleep when i reached home...but had to do admin stuff (aka emailing) to my prof for some updates n ya...admin stuff...like labs....

but weather was nice to sleep lah...so i slept after dinner...zzz...fatty pig...

anyway...i read a newspaper article...actually 2 articles...which i wanna comment on....

1st...nearer to home (literally) is the ERP gantry they are setting up at BKE towards PIE, right after the Dairy Farm Road.

One word for this move "CRAP!!" the timing proposed for this gantry for vehicles to pay money is during peak hours, 7.30am - 9am if i'm not wrong, weekdays. This move is to actually curb the flow of traffic during peak hours....i pity those people needa go town from north west district..who have to go via the route: BKE - PIE - CTE (maybe)...they'll b paying lots for the ERP charges...

anyway..back to curbing the traffic...i tink it's something that shd not b done this way...now...lets say i wan to go work from my house to orchard for instance...normally...go BKE then PIE then orchard...max is onli 2 gantries...one on PIE the other at orchard. now...3 gantries...add the BKE wan in...zzzz...

so wat i do?? i go by bt timah road...all the way to orchard...via stevens road...take me longer time..but i can skip paying the gantry money but my petrol consumption goes up..anyway...the petrol consumption is not the point i wanna say...

now..wat if there are many ppl tinking the same way as me?? skip the gantries and go by bt timah....then wont bt timah road be more congested than it's already is??? then wat to do to curb this traffic?? install more gantries along bt timah road lor!!! wat to do... (anyway...newspaper article did say to expect more gantries near neighbourhoods le...warning to all who drives or takes cabs)

like tat...might as well install gantries at every traffic junction lah...or in front of the carpark entrances..to curb traffic on the roads...crap lah...

if wan singaporeans to take public transport...by making car ownership more ex...doesnt realli solve the prob too...next time will complain bout public transport...for now..is erp...

ya...so that concludes my ERP part...making us pay so much....next time all cycle go work (as wat wy said)

2nd...is our neighbouring country...msia...is now a dangerous place to go...esp JB which is more accessible to singaporeans...a guy got slashed and beaten up...and carjacked...n guess where??? right in front of the police station....best....this fella...a regular to msia..cos of business (no choice) went in at 3am to eat supper wif his wife (supper so late..at 3am)...topped up his car petrol at a petrol kiosk beside the police station...cos he knows the robbery situation in msia....but who knows..kanna carjacked at that point plus got injuries...fingers nearly severed...n i must say that he is lucky neva die...

3am..in front of police station...policeman sleeping lah...so still not safe wan lah...

haiz...even my msian frens (excluding zm) and my msian cousins all wanna shift out of that country le.....but singaporeans wan to do the opposite..go in for cheap deals...which may costs more than cheap...

go figure!

Stress and Sick

ahhhh....weekend was great!!! but then a bit stressed due to FYP...

update update...

saturday was spent wif my dear..but the morning event had to spoil my mood...go school early in the morning to attend FYP tok...zzz...starting to stress us le...they still told us that it's actually quite late if we haven start researching on our topics...zzz...howhowhow???

the onli plus point of the tok is the buffet during the break...haha!! was veli hungry as i didn't take my breakfast...so helped myself to 3 rounds of buffet...shiok...the spring roll was veli nice!! hahah..

after the tok, dear came to fetch me from sch...haha..then we went st to gym...we healthy lifestyle ok!! hhaha..as usual..i ran on the threadmill for a short while as a warm up...then proceed to do the weights..while dear did her long distance running then did a bit of the biceps curl and crunches...

then after gym...showered..and go for lunch...or rather...lunch + dinner....all our fats came back!! hahaha!! after tat...we went to dear's home....she tired..so she slept...while i played dota...then....her comp....booom-ed....power supply blown....or rather over heated....notch my fault hor...is the cpu is being enclosed in a slot under her table..how to breathe like tat...so overheat....then have to go SLS replace the power supply...so we drove down to SLS near the evening...got it repaired...the left the car in the SLS parking...cos is per entry parking...haha..

we then walked all the way to esplanade there to c the fireworks...not bad...but then....veli smoky and there is not much variety of fireworks...both color and the pattern veli standard...nevertheless..still can entertain us...not bad liao...haha!!

then we walked back to the car at SLS and parking was $2.14 for nearly 4 hrs of parking...shiok!! hahaha..anyway...got the car liao..went back to dear's home to plug back the comp and tested it..make sure can run...

after tat..went to bt timah for supper...wanted to eat prata...but dunno which reservist unit ordered prata for supper!!! #$#%#^^!@#@$^

Y my reservist unit onli noe how to ask us to sleep early onli....zzz...

so in the end...cannot order prata..cos need to wait veli long..so ordered mee goreng instead...oso long wait...zzzz....when i nearly ran out of patience...lucky for them...the mee goreng came....shd hav gone to fagji's place there eat prata...

tat ends my saturday....sunday is easier to write...haha!

sunday...wake up veli late...go eat my brunch...then went to dear's house...wanted to go SLS buy IrDA toggle sets for my FYP..then my dad told me tat I still dun hav the backgrd knowledge...buy liao oso waste money...so ask me dun buy yet....

then i started to get stresss....i went dear's place to research a bit on my project...then until later in the afternoon...to de-stress...we drove all the way to changi there...changi beach...to walk walk...n c planes!! hahaha...

then a while later..i had to go my grandma's place...then dear hav to go home eat dinner...so tat ends my sunday prog meeting dear...

at my grandma's house...played bingo (wif money wan) with my relatives...onli played 2 rds cos needa eat dinner soon....then after tat...watch PM Lee give speech...

my bro n mum together wif my uncle and auntie watch MAN U vs MAN C there..the first half...then kanna scored a goal against MAN U..they sian diao..say wan to go home...haha!!!

well...end of my update le...hahaha!!!

oh ya..now having sore throat...cosh i ate lots of chocolates over the weekend....

hmm...woke up....n was raining heavily...ate my breakfast...then go sch...then come home...hahaha!!!

then did tutorial and pray dota wif the usuals...boy, ji, zw...sc still in sch..so neva pray wif him....

anyway...my thoughts for today....kids are damn hard to discipline....

i realli cant get kids nowadays...on the way home...i saw a student in sch uniform..near my home...smoking....

worse still..this person is smoking alone while walking home (i guess)...

this shows that this fella is already hooked to smoking...haiz...this kind of kids should just vanish from earth...smoke is polluting the air we breate...and he is just wasting resources and waste of space...damn sad lah...

what's up wif smoking ah??? cool meh??? more fag than cool...

what to do leh...the world is changing...these kids are influenced easily...immature...
